Got a letter from Ira from Moscow today, few photos included. The cute girl from Russia has been grown up so much that I could hardly recognize her! She was plump and cute when I met her in 2002. Now she is growing much taller and thinner, and STUNNING! Absolutely STUNNING! :D

I did NOTHING this week except visited the National Musuem of Marine Biology. Good place if you want to see marine animals, but bad place for *learning*. If you want to learn any animal names, please study zoology beforehand. The signs on tanks are rather obscure. Often can you find the animal noted on the sign in other tanks but the tank behind it. Amazing. :p

The best part of the musuem would be the "experience zone" which allow visitors to touch the animals. It feels fantastic to touch the sea cucumbers, sea hares, and sharks. They are adorable!

However, if anyone is going, I highly suggest eat at home or bring food with you. The food provided in the museum is way too expensive and unedible. Being an aquarium doesn't mean they fish from their fish tank. *wink*

New layout. Cannot say that I am satisfy with this design, but some changing is better than none. Also, blog archives of 2002 is back online. (Wow!) I'm planning have the archives since 2000 online by tomorrow. Thanks to Blogger.com whom stayed online without any harddisk & database failure. Blogger.com is absolutely gratifying from the beginning of its launching. *big big smile* Stay tunned, more updates are coming.

The university admission will be annouced TOMORROW 8:00 AM. I am nervous, extremely nervous. I was too nervous and had to transfer my attention to something, to prevent myself get suffocated. Then I thought of my long abandoned HTML and CSS knowlege and decided to pick it up again, as well as learn the new XHTML thing. And FINALLY, my site is confirmed as valid with XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Yay! Look:

Valid XHTML 1.0!

At least this is the first step towards success. Oh, and good luck to my university admission. :)

My travel journals are up at here. The site contains my daily journal of the Seattle trip in 2002, Kinmen trip in 2004, two trips to eastern Taiwan. Soon (after I finished the Seattle journal) the Moscow 2002 journal will be online, too. Perhaps, if someday I still have strength, my most valuable memories in Geneva would make its way to the web, too. Only the journals are going to be completely IN CHINESE. Sorry to those who cannot read Chinese, you have to learn Chinese. Haha. In fact, the truth is, I write much better in Chinese than in English. Unless my English writing skill become as good as, say, Michael Crichton, the Jurassic Park author (at least), will I tempt to translate the journals into English. Which, is more like a dream. Yes. :p

While waiting for university admission (or whatever it is called), I put my time on my weakest subject - Chemistry. Despite the textbook used is university curriculum standard, I surprising found myself already familiar with the first two chapters. Probably because it is history of Chemistry. Now I hope I could finish the book within one month, thus making my first year of university easier. Hopefully!
